Antony began his working life after gaining a degree in Accountancy and Finance. His first forages into the working world began in a small practice in Halifax. Here he learnt the true meaning of added value to clients; starting at the grassroots of book additions and balancing banks. Quickly he took on extra responsibilities for staff, working planning and accountancy cover for clients.
In 1999 Antony relocated to the Midlands and has stayed ever since. His diversified into industry, beginning employment within a packaging company where he was deputy financial controller and at times seconded to Head office to help the finance director further.
Having been spoilt for choice between Practice and Industry Antony firmly believed his strengths lay in the world of Chartered Accountancy as he moved back into practice in Oadby; where he was second only to the business owner.
An opportunity arose in 2005 for Antony to move and be Partner-designate and he took the chance with both hands, progressing quickly to Partner and Director of the business; gaining Statutory Auditor status along the way. His portfolio covers everything the accounting world can throw at him from part time sole traders to multi-company group audits; covering every aspect of the accountancy profession be it taxation, payroll, VAT or anything else.
Since re-locating to the Midlands, Antony has added a wife, three children, a couple of dogs, a few chickens and a duck which all demand time! He does, however still find time to be his village Parish Councillor and the finance office for his village association.
